Easy Brownies

• 1 cup butter
  
• 2 cup sugar
  
• 4 eggs
  
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour 
  
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
  
• 1/4 cup cocoa
  
• pinch salt
  
• 1 cup chopped nuts 
  
• 1 tsp vanilla

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, well beaten.  Sift the dry ingredients and blend together.  Spread thin into a 9 x 13 greased pan.  Bake at 400 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes (until toothpick comes out clean)
